How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from the app at any time:

  1. 1Open the Calorie Diary app.
  2. 2Go to Settings (tap the gear icon on the Profile tab).
  3. 3Tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the page.
  4. 4A confirmation dialog will appear. Type the word "delete" to confirm.
  5. 5Tap the confirm button. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon confirmation, the following data is permanently and immediately deleted from our servers. There is no grace period and deletion cannot be undone.

Server-side data (deleted immediately)

  • ✓Account credentials (email address, name, registration date)
  • ✓User profile (age, gender, height, weight, health goal)
  • ✓Nutrition goals (daily calorie, protein, fat, carbohydrate, and water targets)
  • ✓All meal diary entries and logged food items, including calorie and macro data
  • ✓All water intake logs
  • ✓All body weight logs
  • ✓Push notification device tokens

Local device data

  • ✓A local SQLite cache of diary data is cleared automatically when you are logged out after deletion.
  • ✓Meal photos are stored only on your device (never uploaded to our servers). They reside in the app's private storage and are removed when you uninstall the app. The app also automatically deletes meal photos older than 180 days.

Data Retention

All server-side data is deleted immediately and permanently upon account deletion. We do not retain any personal data after deletion. There is no soft-delete, no backup restoration, and no recovery option. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

Cannot Access the App?

If you are unable to access the app and need your account deleted, contact our support team by email. Include the email address associated with your account and we will process the deletion manually.
